Outdoor Smarts: Avalanche Awareness Class & Free Snacks | Sports Basement

Sports Basement Outdoors guides will be in-store teaching a free Avalanche Awareness class from 7-8 pm on select dates at their Bay Area stores.

The guides will be sharing lessons on staying safe in the backcountry from their years of experience. Topics will include avalanche causes, backcountry travel techniques, and how to read an avalanche bulletin, plus a demonstration of avalanche safety gear and complimentary refreshments.
