Paul Smith Piano Recital | Kentfield

Emeritus faculty member, Paul Smith, performs his annual piano recital to benefit Contemporary Opera Marin, the opera program of the College of Marin.
This year’s program consists of the scintillating, but seldom heard Sonata opus 12, no. 1 by Muzio Clementi, Robert Schumann’s fantastical set of imaginary dances, Davidsbündlertänze, opus 6,
 as well as Sergei Prokofiev’s de ant 6th Sonata, written in response to the horrors of World War II.
