Event Details

Join returned Peace Corps Volunteers from around Northern California and the Ohlone Elementary School Global Awareness team for a free festival to celebrate, learn, and share experiences from over 100 countries.

Come and experience:

  • Exciting presentations from returned volunteers on a dozen exotic, far off places including Namibia, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan and Panama
  • Hands-on international crafts for kids and adults such as tie-dye shirts and toy-making
  • cultural fashion show
  • Foods native to other countries
  • Displays of photographs, clothing, toys
  • International arts and crafts
  • Panel discussions on the Ukraine and other countries affected by the Ebola outbreak in West Africa
  • Storytelling workshops
