Be the first to see the brand new trail loop and artwork at the grand opening of Philosopher’s Way at McLaren Park from 11 am to 12:30 pm on Saturday, January 5, 2013.

Philosopher’s Way is a new 2.7 mile trail loop and public artwork by artists Susan Schwartzenberg and Peter Richards that encourages personal thought and contemplation along park trails.

Meet at the trailhead parking lot at Mansell Street and Visitacion Avenue for a dedication ceremony with Supervisors John Avalos, David Campos and Malia Cohen, the San Francisco Arts Commission, Recreation and Park Department and Public Utilities Commission.
