Free Seasonal Cooking Demo & Tasting | Ferry Plaza Farmers Market
This waterfront market, run by the Center for Urban Education about Sustainable Agriculture (CUESA), has over 100 food, fruit, and vegetable vendors on Saturdays and the entire Bay as its beautiful backdrop.
The Ferry Plaza Farmers Market operates year-round from 8 am to 2 pm.
On most Saturdays, free cooking demos take place in the CUESA Classroom (under the white tents in front of the Ferry Building) and are free to the public, with recipes and samples for all.

Natalia Bushyager & Leigh Loper are the innovative young chefs behind Picnic On Third, a culinary cafe in South Park that features an entirely new menu every day. The two bring a complimentary – if not unorthodox – style to cooking that never disappoints.
At Picnic On Third, their menus are rooted in seasonality, but they take inspiration from hyper-local international cuisines, emerging trends in the food world, and occasionally whimsical concepts driven by their passion du jour. The intent is to make wholesome food accessible for a fair price, and to inject a bit of creativity into the daily lunch routine.
