Calvary Presbyterian Church | 2515 Fillmore Street (at Jackson) San Francisco, CA
Calvary’s 156-year-old church building hosts their 18th annual open house during the 2012 Fillmore Jazz Festival. From noon to 5pm both Saturday and Sunday, visitors are welcome to take a breather from the Jazz Festival and enjoy free tours of original frescoes, tapestry, stained and faceted glass displays, plus free clean restrooms.
Additionally you can enjoy short concerts featuring Calvary’s 6,200-pipe Kates/Aeolian organ. 20-minute Organ concerts given by Charles Worth at 2 & 3pm on Saturday; 2pm on Sunday, traditionally concluded with Sousa’s “Stars and Stripes Forever”.
