Event Details

Join Albany’s Poet Laureate Rebecca Black in a hands-on workshop and build your own poems. Use all of your senses to explore each of the four stations – in the Tinker Lab, you’ll find paper, scissors, paint, clay and found objects to construct your own three-dimensional poem. Next visit the Poem Decoder Station, the Time Machine Station, and the specially designed annex for Totally New Feelings.

Come join Albany’s active community of poem-makers, word-designers, and emotion-engineers. Snacks and light refreshments will be provided. Rebecca encourages adults, kids, and families to join her and discover their inner poets.
