Out of Site: Pop-Up Interactive Art Studio | Mission Dist

Join Out of Site Youth Arts Center as they take over Asterisk Gallery in the Mission for a collaboration with the Children’s Creativity Museum, YBCA Young Artists at Work, and SFJAZZ.

This three-day youth-run event features exhibitions, performances, competitions, architecture, photography and printmaking installations, workshops, and work for sale by youth artists.

Saturday, May 11, 2013, 1-6 pm

• Mobile Animation Studio – Use clay to create whatever characters or environment your heart desires, then make it come to life in a stop-motion animation
• Free Screenprinting – Bring a t-shirt, or give us the shirt off your back and you can leave sporting a freshly printed design.
  
• Phantom Phonebooth – Step into the phantom phonebooth where you can spill your heart out and a mystery listener on the other end will pass you a slip of paper with some advice or words of encouragement.
• DigiRhythm Performance
• 5 pm: Youth Performance Competition
