Join Kitsch House, an artistic collaboration between local artists Pete Hickok and Jeffrey Augustine Songco, for dancing, mingling, music, mirrors, mood lighting, costumes and libations before a night out on the town.

RSVP before each event and join the pre-party. Bring friends or bring yourself and meet new ones and become part of a new micro-community and participate in SoMa nightlife.

Kitsch House Pre-party Schedule

Friday, July 6, 5–6pm
Precedes the Performing Community opening reception, 6-9pm, which features a performance by youth rockers from the San Francisco Rock Project at 7pm. SOMArts will run a cash bar during the opening ($3 Coastal Fog, $4 wine).

Thursday, July 12, 6–8pm
Pre-Party drinks will be provided by Kitsch House for the portion of the event that takes place at SOMArts, thanks to in-kind donations from Rainbow Grocery Cooperative, Speakeasy & 21st Amendment Brewery. This pre-party will begin at SOMArts and continue with a neighborhood bar hop. Must be 21+ to party. From 9pm to 2am, the queer dance party Darling Nikki at Som Bar benefits SOMArts so Kitsch House will stop by.

Thursday, July 19, 6–8pm
Pre-Party drinks will be provided by Kitsch House for the portion of the event that takes place at SOMArts, thanks to in-kind donations from Rainbow Grocery Cooperative, Speakeasy & 21st Amendment Brewery. This pre-party will begin at SOMArts and continue with a neighborhood bar hop. Must be 21+ to party.

Kitsch House pre-parties are part of the exhibition Performing Community, July 6-26, 2012 at SOMArts Cultural Center. Performing Community is a group exhibition which connects artists with audiences to explore and inform community building and creative placemaking in SOMA, San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood.
