In the intimate atmosphere of a house concert, experience jazz, contemporary, and classical music, and enjoy opportunities to converse with performers and each other.
Named by Culture Trip as one of the Bay Area’s top ten string quartets, the young yet masterful Thalea Quartet brings you classical masterpieces alongside rarely performed treasures.
Praised for their “vibrant performance” and “sincere expressivity” (SF Classical Voice), the Thalea String Quartet is one of San Francisco’s newest up and coming string quartets.
Formed in 2014 at the Zephyr International Chamber Music Festival, the Thalea String Quartet has performed recitals in Italy, the U.S. and Canada and was appointed the first quartet-in-residence at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
