The Mission Bay Commons garden is hosting a free Friday night screening of The Princess Bride in Mission Bay Commons on August 1, 2014.
Bring along a blanket and enjoy the movie as the Commons celebrate the rampant growth of their volunteer-run community garden and the special astroturf placed just a few weeks ago.
The organizers say the event is “totally free, though if you dream of planting squash and tomatoes and carrying a hoe after seeing the garden, ask us how much money you can throw at us for your own plot.”
