Propellerheads software is sponsoring a “Mashup Meetup” for aspiring producers and DJs. Using a custom electronic music collaboration lab, equipped with 5 keyboards, laptops and interfaces, you’ll collaborate on making music together by syncing each workstation over a wireless network.

They will set up each computer so that you can trigger slices of your choice of Top 40 songs. This session will include songs by: Gotye, Katy Perry, Rihanna, Fun, Carly Rae Jespen and more. The ability to loop and sequence is available to the “teacher station” acting as the conductor and guide through this mashup soundscape. The lab is also equipped with VJ equipment, so that the teacher station can give visual cues.
