Event Details

National parks across America are coping with the challenges brought about by climate change, like melting glaciers and rising tides. However, it is easier and more cost-effective to prevent these changes from occurring in the first place. Come share your ideas and learn from sustainability experts Laura Castellini (GGNRA), Dale Dualan (Pt. Reyes), Abby Morris (Presidio Trust) how our local national park sites are implementing green strategies that save energy, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and seek to keep carbon in the soil.

The national parks have a unique opportunity to share lessons-learned and knowledge gained with millions of visitors every year, a great reason to model best practices as we become climate-friendly parks. Free but an RSVP is required.
