Come dressed in costume for the community-wide celebration featuring carnival games, holiday crafts including mask-making, a costume parade and a Purim shpiel with storyteller Cantey Meigs complete with groggers (noise-makers) for the audience, and adult learning opportunties at the JCC East Bay in Berkeley on Sunday, March 1, 2015.

Adult Education topics include:

  • 2 pm – Rabbi David Kasher of Kevah – “Hidden and Exposed: Women in the Megillah”
  • 3 pm – Rabbi Bridget Wynne of Jewish Gateways – “To Risk or Not to Risk: How the Purim Story Can Help Us Answer That Question”
