2015 Purim Carnival: Costume Parade & Puppets | Berkeley

JCC East Bay | 1414 Walnut Street, Berkeley, CA
Come dressed in costume for the community-wide celebration featuring carnival games, holiday crafts including mask-making, a costume parade and a Purim shpiel with storyteller Cantey Meigs complete with groggers (noise-makers) for the audience, and adult learning opportunties at the JCC East Bay in Berkeley on Sunday, March 1, 2015.
Adult Education topics include:
- 2 pm – Rabbi David Kasher of Kevah – “Hidden and Exposed: Women in the Megillah”
- 3 pm – Rabbi Bridget Wynne of Jewish Gateways – “To Risk or Not to Risk: How the Purim Story Can Help Us Answer That Question”
