Push The Feeling returns Saturday, September 6th with a live set from electro-funk wizard Brian Ellis (along with his live band Reflection) plus DJ sets from Hotthobo, Yr Skull and epicsauce at Underground SF.
Free before 10 pm, but an RSVP is required; otherwise, it’s $6.
If you’re unfamiliar with the boogie and funk prodigy, look no further than his recent collaboration with electro legend Egyptian Lover “Love Is” — the instant classic is on par with Zapp & Roger’s best work. For fans of classic ’80s electro-funk and modern funk a la Dam Funk, Moon B and Turquoise Summer, Ellis and his band will be bringing in their epic collection of vintage drum machines, synthesizers, vocoders/talk boxes and guitars in for a straight up dance party.
Music Lineup
- Brian Ellis (Live • Voltaire Records)
- Hotthobo (DJ Set • Voltaire Records)
