Quick Draw SF: Monthly Live Art Party | SoMa
The Bay Area’s Paint Pens Collective and Never Ending Radical Dude present Quick Draw SF, a monthly live-drawing event co-curated by Shayna Yasuhara and Jason Furie.
Each month, ten artists are selected to come draw and sell their creations on the “art wall” available on the cheap. Everyone is welcome to come and draw, so bring your sketchbooks.
There’s also a “merch table” where artists sell swag such as prints, books, and original art. Credit cards accepted.
September 2014 will have a loose Superheroe theme (so dress up!). They will also be projecting your favorite Super Hero movies and playing some familiar tunes. With a special tie-in drink called the “Hulk-Smashed” that will knock you on your green ass.
