Event Details

Spy Emerson will open her working studio to the public the whole weekend, a rare opportunity to see an artists’ intimate space, and purchase original works ranging from paintings and prints, hand sewn hats and toys.

There’ll be everything from cheap holiday gifts (the hand-sewn stuff is especially cool) to expensive fine art.

Also known as Spy Girlfriday, a Bay Area-based performance artist into Vaudevillian and knife throwing, Emerson here is showing off her breadth as an innovative artist. Also on Sunday

ABOUT SPY: Freelance thinker, full-time hustler, performer, curator, subversion artist extraordinaire. Born in the rhythmic shadows of industry, and brought-up on a bitter and bizarre brew steeped in the fanciful visual worlds of Sesame Street and H.R. Pufnstuf together with the jumbled chaos and danger of dumpster-diving in 1980s Waste Haven, Connecticut.
