Event Details

Audiovisual book presentation by two photographers and a memoirist about women breaking expectations and defying convention. Join them when Meg Allen, author of Butch; Lucy Gray author of Balancing Acts: Three Prima Ballerinas Becoming Mothers; and Renate Stendhal author of Kiss Me Again Paris talk about their work.

Gather, share knowledge and celebrate the unique identities at the queerest library ever. Visit the James C. Hormel LGBTQIA Center, the gateway to the Library’s broader collections documenting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex and allies’ history and culture, with a special emphasis on the San Francisco Bay Area.

A book sale by Friends of the San Francisco Public Library follows the event.
