It was on Dec. 5, 1933 that the Repeal of Prohibition was ratified and Denis McCarthy launched his cocktail bar on Mission Street at its current location.

Time to put on your flapper outfit and fedora hat to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of Prohibition’s end and the founding of McCarthy’s Bar (now ChaChaCha) on Mission Street. All food and drink purchases will benefit the Crossroads Irish-American Festival.
