re:Told Storytelling & Exhibit Closing | Mission Dist.re:Told, is a multi-faceted project combining a group exhibition, storytelling event, and publication.

The storytelling event will feature live performance and readings from several project contributors including:

  • Larissa Canney
  • Chinese Whispers, a project by Rene Yung
  • Jordan Minter
  • Amol Ray
  • Adrienne Skye Roberts
  • Ingrid Rojas

The works included in each component of re:Told look to the past to make sense of the present. Participants in this project examine identity by reframing personal, familial, and cultural histories in a contemporary context. They unravel passed down stories and intertwine personal experiences to create a new narrative.
