Return of the Cypher (ROTC) is free live Hip-Hop show every Sunday at the Boom Boom Room that features an ever-changing lineup of artists and improvised sessions (know as “cyphers”) where beatboxers, emcees, and musicians collaborate in a spontaneous combustion of soulful skill.

This Sunday they have an awesome double feature of Breathless aka Honey B and Babii Cris. These two have both represent a relentless force in Bay Area Hip Hop. Breathless, awarded best emcee in Omaha Nebraska, is co-founder of a collective of women in Hip Hop in the bay called Venus Rising Collective and Babii Cris has been going hard off the release of her self-produced primer album, Triple Threat, and was a finalist in the TeamBackPack cyphers this year in LA.
