An heir to John Cassavetes, Rob Nilsson is a Cannes and Sundance winner. The library will be screening his films for the whole month of August.

A Bridge to a Border: Pakal Gomez is an ex-border patrol officer who ends up in prison by his superior after a couple of illegal immigrants perish as they cross a broder. Pending parole, he is hospialized in a medical halfway home from where he escapes to commit an act of terror with a few others radicalized in prison. Will he yield to the pressure and jeopardize others efforts to avoid detection? (2014, 1hr, 29min)
