Event Details

Come and watch a reading of an original musical about the SF housing crisis written by Alison C. Wright and Tommi Avicolli Mecca with a live band playing the songs.

Story: a group of tenants in a typical building somewhere in San Francisco receive an Ellis Act eviction notice and decide to fight, pitting themselves against a flip-happy, out-of-town speculator without scruples (is there any other kind?) who will do anything to turn a hefty profit at their expense. It’s a tour-de-force of the housing crisis with a heavy dose of satire and a soundtrack that will delight.
