Rotunda Dance Series: Choreographer Chris Black | City HallEach month, come for a free dance performance at San Francisco City Hall. The 2014 season includes Flamenco, West African Dance, Korean Dance, and many other forms of dance. All performances are free and start at noon.

Set amidst the grandeur of San Francisco City Hall’s Rotunda, these free lunchtime presentations bring dance forms from across the globe to this magnificent venue.

Rotunda Dance Series: Choreographer Chris Black | City HallChoreographer Chris Black has been making dance in San Francisco since 1993.

Chris recently was a resident artist at the California Academy of Sciences, where she developed Extinction Burst, a site dance bringing a kinetic memory of extinct animals into the present. She has also choreographed for numerous Bay Area theater productions, including Jerry Springer the Opera (Ray of Light Theatre), BEARDO (Shotgun Players) and Salome (Aurora Theatre), for which she won a BATCC Award for Best Choreography.
