Rotunda Dance Series | City Hall

Each month come for a free dance performance at San Francisco City Hall. The 2012 season includes Hip Hop, Ballet, Folklorico, Filipino, Irish and many other forms of dance. All performances are free and start at noon.

These performances are presented by Dancers’ Group and World Arts West, in partnership with SF City Hall and SF Grants for the Arts.

Classical Indian Dance | Rotunda Dance Series | City Hall

Renowned Kathak ensemble, the Chitresh Das Dance Company, will perform three works representing both tradition and innovation within this classical Indian dance form.

Through the choreographic vision of Pandit Chitresh Das comes work that is evocative and powerful, bringing both the richness of ancient India and a fiery, contemporary sensibility.
