Event Details

Come sing from The Sacred Harp, an American tunebook with strong roots in the early music of New England and the southern United States. Singing is participatory, acapella 4-part harmony.

All are welcome in this event and no performances or rehearsals, commitment, experience, or ability required, just a wide variety of people coming together to sing and socialize.

This special practice singing will feature a potluck and Sacred Harp themed costume (costume not required). They’ll sing out of the 1991 Denson Edition of the Sacred Harp.
