The oldest community orchestra, San Francisco Civic Symphony presents its 2018-2019 season opening concert, Beethoven’s “Emperor” Concerto & Dvořák’s Symphony No.7 on Sunday, October 21, 2018.

Program:

  • Shostakovich – Festive Overture
  • Beethoven – Piano Concerto No. 5 “Emperor” featuring Keisuke Nakagoshi, piano
  • Dvořák – Symphony No. 7

Music Director & Conductor: Jessica Bejarano

Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please arrive early to ensure your spot.

For over 80 years, the San Francisco Civic Symphony has been fulfilling its two-part mission: providing a place for musicians at all skill and experience levels to play together, and offering free performances for members of the community that might not otherwise experience live orchestral music. The symphony is a volunteer-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that relies on the generous support of its members and individual donors.
