At the heart of the festival is the race excitement, with almost 100 dragon boat teams comprised of thousands of paddlers. Come watch your favorite local corporations and community groups battle it out on the water.

The Dragon Boat Festival will offer two days of cultural performances and entertainment, including lion dancing, martial arts demonstrations, Hawaiian/Polynesian dancing, Taiko drumming, and much more.

They’ll also have plenty of food and snacks to tide you over until dinner at one of Oakland’s great restaurants. The festival will also have vendors with a variety of athletic clothing, arts and crafts, and other items.
