2011 San Francisco Pride Parade | “In Pride We Trust”
>> Want to see our Top Picks for this week instead?
Market Street | Market Street & Beale Street, San Francisco CA
Among the nation’s largest LGBT event and forty years running, the SF Pride Parade offers over 200 floats snaking down Market Street from Beale to Eighth Street; and you can bet they’ll be shock full of feather boas, skimpy underwear, leather garbs, latex toys and a sexed-up atmosphere.
The parade is the culmination of a month of Pride-themed events in the city and the all-out celebration during this weekend culminating in the Pride Festival (Sat & Sun) in Civic Center Plaza. Expect to see dykes on bikes, bears in straps, gays in skivvies, trannies in gowns and thousands of gawkers.
