Event Details

Don’t miss Judy Yung’s illustrated talk on her newly revised book San Francisco’s Chinatown. Yung tells an insider’s story of this vibrant Chinese American neighborhood that survived Chinese exclusion, two major earthquakes, and redevelopment.

Named one of the Top Ten Great Neighborhoods in America, Chinatown has been an immigrant gateway, residential neighborhood, tourist attraction, and cultural touchstone for generations of Chinese Americans. Learn more from this distinguished author and historian. Talk begins at 3 pm.
