Event Details

Join David Nelson to learn about a citizen-led effort to stop a major San Francisco Bay fill project called New Manhattan; San Bruno Mountain would have been used as the source of the fill. The protection of San Bruno Mountain saved five plants that exist nowhere else on earth. Their speaker will explain how science prevailed to preserve magnificent Bay Area terrestrial and wetland habitats.
