Dust off your pocket protector and grab a whiskey because science is taking over the El Rio bar.

Science, Neat is a monthly summer happy hour that pairs lightening talks with live demonstrations on the back patio of the El Rio bar in San Francisco, California.

Get in touch with your inner scientist while sipping your favorite drink and networking with other like-minded nerds.

August’s science event will be on the topic of Oceans.

  • Lesser Known Sharks: Vicky Vásquez of the Pacific Shark Research Center
  • Open-source underwater robots: David Lang of OpenROV
