Join them for a day of SciFi celebration at the library. All fandoms are welcome along with their costumes. The day is packed with activities such as:

  • 10:15-10:45am
    SciFi Stories: Voyage to the Bunny Planet (Ages 2-5)
    In the Community Room
  • 11:00am-1:00pm
    Drop in to the Children’s Room to make Yoda Ears (K-5th Grade)
    Drop in to the Teen Zone to make Steampunk Hats (6th – 12th Grade)
  • 11:30am-12:30pm
    Positrons, Lasers and Robots: How Close is Our Tech to Asimov’s? Lecture by Dr. Scott Wilks of the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory
    In the Community Room
  • 1:00-2:00pm SciFi-Themed Performance by Peninsula Symphony Saxophone Quartet
  • 1:00-3:00pm: Space Cantina: All ages welcome

SciFi coloring sheets available all day in the children’s room.
