Second Saturday Art & Music Walk | Oakland’s Golden Gate Dist.

The Golden Gate Neighborhood of North Oakland is hosting a monthly Second Saturdays event with art, music, food, classes and family-friendly activities.

They’re focusing on the DIY character of the neighborhood, so come out and see what you can add to the mix.

A few featured activities for March 14 (yep, that’s Pi Day!)

  • Life support training at St. Columba Catholic Church
  • Storytime at the newly refurbished Golden Gate Library
  • Planning meeting for the Golden Gate Gardeners’ group
  • Orientation and information exchange for chicken owners
  • Tours of the Grease Diner silkscreening studio
  • Sneak peek at the new Wolfhound Bar
  • SPAGGIA meetup and live jazz at Tribu Cafe
  • Brews and bites at the new Commonwealth Micropub
