Noe Valley is using public space to support local urban food production. Over 2,000 vegetables/herbs/flowers seedlings are to be distributed throughout the needs of various schools and local community gardens that are established in San Francisco including 24th Street between Castro and Noe in Noe Valley.
“Our community goal on Sunday April 11th from 11am – 3pm is using public space to support local urban food production in a civic engagement “Learn the art of seeding” workshop. For 4 hours we will gather 200 participants to work together to seed 50 flats.”
