Event Details

Seeds Day is seed sharing, presentations, educational booths, potluck, and seed talk featuring  rock star seed teacher Steve Peters.

Steve Peters will share a bit of his wisdom about seed saving. Steve has been involved with agriculture since he was a child. His journey began as a gardener and then a farmer, research agronomist, seed production and development manger, educator, and seed advocate. Steve is a plant breeder and owner of Seed rEvolution Now.

2018 Seed Day Schedule:

  • 10 am: Coffee, Snacks and Set up
  • 10:30 am: Joyce Eden – Instant Pot Demo, easy way to bring Healthy Food into your Diet
  • 11 am: Seed Exchange – Santa Clara UCCE Master Gardeners will be available to answer your garden and seed questions
  • 11:30 am: The Great Silicon Valley Bean Weigh Off
  • Noon: Steve Peters – Seed rEvolution Now
  • 1 pm: Potluck – Bring plant-based dish to share
  • Seed exchange, discussion open and clean up to 3 pm

Free but an RSVP is required. Bringing of seeds is not required but it is encouraged.
