Event Details

The QuickBooks Self-Employed Community will host a free meetup from 7:30-9:30 pm on Monday, August 4, 2014 at Impact Hub Oakland.

Free, but an RSVP is required.

Meet other self-employed professionals, freelancers, artists and consultants. Take your work to the next level and start learning from your peers.

Special Guest Speaker: Michael C. Bush will be on hand for a special Q&A to answer your burning questions on how to be successfully self-employed. Michael is an entrepreneur, Oakland resident and champion of small business owners. Not only is he an incredible resource, he’s also a widely sought after speaker and a member of President Obama’s White House Business Council.

Catering from Bicycle Bánh Mì will be provided by QB Self-Employed Community.
Jessica Nguyen of Bicycle Bánh Mì, recently shared her story in the community of how she went from working as a statistical analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank to becoming successfully self-employed selling her (amazing) authentic Vietnamese street fare in the Bay Area.

They’ll be featuring beats from renowned (and self-employed) DJ Uni.
