Interested in some culture instead of football?

The San Francisco Ballet’s 2013 Season opens with a program featuring Borderlands, a world premiere by Wayne McGregor and the SF Ballet premiere of Serge Lifar’s Suite en Blanc, plus the return of Jerome Robbins’ elegant In the Night, set to solo piano music by Chopin.

The ballet begins at 2pm, but show up at 1pm for a “meet the artist” talk with Ballet Master Anita Paciotti on the Orchestra Level of the War Memorial Opera House.
