Event Details

SF Swappers | A San Francisco-based Food Swap Event

SF Swappers is an ongoing San Francisco-based food swap and social gathering that welcomes bakers, canners, picklers, distillers, home cooks and everyone passionate about making and sharing food.

Free, but an RSVP is required. (If you arrive later than 7 pm, you risk being unable to participate in the food swap.)

The food swaps take place every other month, and include getting to know your fellow San Francisco food makers and the opportunity to swap your homemade items with others. They welcome everyone from hobbyists to chefs with professional experience (who they encourage to use the food swap as a platform to branch out).

If you made it, grew it, harvested it, or foraged for it and it’s edible, you can trade it.

SF Swappers celebrate four years of food swapping on April 22, 2015. They continue to have a thriving and diverse group of food lovers and makers.

Schedule:

  • 6:30 – 7:30 pm   Check-in, set up, potluck and mingling
  • 7:30 – 8 pm   Swapping

It takes time to set up your swap items, and enjoying the potluck and conversation with your fellow swappers before the action begins is an integral part of the event.

Please bring your best potluck offerings to share. Once again, their awesome venue partner, Sports Basement, is generously providing beer and wine.

Disclaimer: Please double check event information with the event organizer as events can be canceled, details can change after they are added to our calendar, and errors do occur.
