SFJAZZ Summerfest an annual series of free outdoor jazz concerts from June through October in parks and commercial centers throughout the Bay Area – Union Square, Stanford and Levi’s Plaza in SF – all free and open to the public.

Award winning guitarist and composer Alex Pinto seamlessly blends traditions of Hindustani music with modern jazz, creating a hybrid that is pushing boundaries and creating new soundscapes. Pinto maintains an active performance schedule in the Bay Area and is the co-founder/director of the newly founded SF Offside Festival. Pinto is a guitarist with a sound and concept unlike any other player on the scene.
