Event Details

Author Donna Levin discusses using personal experience with autism spectrum disorders in writing. Characters with autism and other neurodiverse conditions are appearing ever more frequently in fiction, enough so that you can now say that “autism lit” is its own genre. Donna talks about how these novels have contributed to a broader understanding of neurodiversity as well as the controversies they’ve provoked.
