20th Annual Sh*t Kickin Memorial Day Party: Outdoor Twang Fest & BBQ | El RioAlways one to go for the foul mouth, El Rio marks this holiday with their 20th Annual Sh*t Kickin’ Memorial Day on Monday, May 25, 2015.

This party kicks off at 4 pm (doors open at 3 pm) out on the patio with plenty of music to last all evening. There will be bands, plus a free BBQ (while it lasts, so get there early), drink specials, a pool table and shuffle board to keep the party rocking.

2015 Live Music:

  • Mojo Rising (Josh & Teal from Mother Truckers’ new band)
The Bay Area’s hottest new Blues supergroup with a lineup of San Francisco music veterans.
  • Red Meat began in a Mission District garage in 1993. But they trace their musical roots much farther back – to the hard honky tonk songs of their youths in Iowa, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Ohio, as well as the rock music of the 60s and 70s that they grew up with. Throw in the Ozark gospel harmonies from Scott Young’s childhood, and you have the basic backbone of the Red Meat sound.
  • The Evangenitals – Avant Americana Pirate Gypsy Juggernaut Band. Like a bar fight in Lego Land.
  • The Branded Men
  • Scott Young (from Red Meat)
