3) Select your email options (we recommend “Individual Emails” as a setting)We currently handle our emailing list through yahoo groups, but soon will be switching over to handling it internally.
Each week we send out just two emails:
1) Exclusive funcheap contests and giveaways (sent on Mondays or Tuesdays)
Each week we get free tickets donated to us by bands, comedians, museums, etc… and we pass them ALL along to you! and we have anywhere from three to 10 giveaways that anyone can win without having to answer stupid trivia questions.
Every week is different but in the past we’ve given away tickets to: Great American Music Hall, Slims, Cafe Du Nord, Shoreline Amphitheatre, the Asian Art Museum, the Exploratorium, California Academy of Sciences, Cobb’s Comedy Club and lots more.
2) Funcheap weekly calendar (sent on Wednesdays or Thursdays)
This email will give you a list of anywhere from 20 to 50 fun, but affordable things to do all over the bay area
We make it easy to unsubscribe: We know sometimes your inbox gets way too full… so each and every email we send out has an “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of it. If you unsubscribe, we’ll send you a confirmation email, and we might ask you for any suggestions on what we could have done better. If you have the time, we’d love to get your feedback
