This Valentine’s day they have a special treat for you – Speed Dating with Scientists. Whether you are single or trying to make plans with a special person in your life, a Science themed evening doesn’t go wrong.
This taste of science comes with a twist – 5 scientists will join you at your dinner tables to talk about their work. Each scientists gets 10mins to explain, demonstrate and take questions about their research without any powerpoint style presentations. After 10mins, a new scientist will take their place and they get 10mins to talk about their work and repeat. Much like speed dating but with Science.
They’ve got the science behind plant-based burger (tasting included), the mechanism behind CRISPR, sex life of color changing sea slugs, live demo of mushroom bricks and bacterial art that you get to make and take home with you.
