Event Details

Join them at the Foothill Observatory and take part in the exploration of the universe. Visitors can view the wonders of the universe through the observatory’s computer-controlled 16-inch Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope. Visibility of objects in the solar system may include cloud-bands of Jupiter, craters on the moon, the rings of Saturn, and much more. The choice of targets for any night’s viewing always depends on the season and what objects are currently in the sky. Be sure to grab a visitor parking permit for $3 from one of the machines in the parking lot.
