Event Details

Do you think networking events are boring? Meet other awesome startup people while hiking the beautiful area near Fort Funston and searching for hidden geocaches. Bring yourself, some water and download a geocaching app on your phone so you can play.

We’ll be hiking Fort Funston’s trails for 3-4 miles, finding 4-5 geocaches and meeting new startup friends. You’ll enjoy beautiful views of Fort Funston, the Pacific Ocean and the sand dunes.

What is geocaching?
An outdoor adventure hobby where you explore the world while searching for hidden treasures (geocaches). After finding a geocache, you put your name in the logbook and re-hide it for the next person to find. You can learn more at geocaching.com.

Startup Geocaching is a group of startup professionals in their 20s and 30s who explore San Francisco, meet new friends and find fun geocaches together. This is our second event.

Meeting Point- We’ll meet a few blocks from the Daly City BART stop. Location will be emailed to registered attendees. Then we’ll walk to Thornton State Park first and walk north to Fort Funston.
