In honor of the beginning of the 75th Anniversary of the Stern Grove Music Festival, The Family Crest will be performing a free concert in Union Square (they play Stern Grove on August 26th opening for OK Go)

An orchestral indie collective a based out of San Francisco, The Family Crest is composed of a six-piece band, and also has over 250 ‘Extended Family Members’ who contribute to recordings, live performances, and other related media and art projects.

With a style as diverse as their member-base, their music draws on elements from rock, classical, folk and jazz.
