Come together to honor the season and focus on healing for the community and the earth at the annual Solstice Drum Circle on June 14, 2015.
Free, but an RSVP is required.
You do not have to be experienced in drumming or shamanism to attend, but it is recommended that you know how to journey, though it’s not required.
Bring a drum or rattle, if you have it. Some drums and rattles will be available to borrow. The format for the circle includes an opening circle, calling power, drumming circle meditation (or journey), healing circle, and closing circle.
Please note that this is not a jam or free form drumming (except for the calling of power). They follow an ancient practice of altering consciousness using a repetitive beat with no counter beats, harmonies or melodies.
