International Surfing Day 2017
Saturday, June 17, 2017 | 9 am to 2 pm
Linda Mar State Beach, Hwy 1 and Crespi Dr, Pacifica
FREE for Beach Cleanup Volunteers

364 days of the year, the Surfrider Foundation and the coastal defender network work tirelessly to protect our coasts. On one day, International Surfing Day, they take a moment to reflect on the impact they’ve made, the campaigns they’ve won and the beaches they’ve protected.

This International Surfing Day, salute your favorite beach. All are welcome.

What to bring: Bring your wetsuit and board for the surf session. If you do not have a board or wetsuit there’s two surf shops close by. If you have extra, and don’t mind sharing, it would be much appreciated.

2017 Schedule

  • 11 AM Beach Cleanup with Pacifica Beach Coalition
  • 11 – 11:30 AM ISD Ceremony with Sports Basement
    • Count trash lbs collected
    • Sports Basement will be presenting their 2016 Basementeer Program donation to the SF Chapter
    • Group photo
  • 11:30 AM Paddle out with City Surf Project (til you can’t paddle anymore)
