Swap-O-Rama-Rama is a nonprofit community clothing swap with a do-it-yourself workshop in which attendees explore the process of reuse and collective creativity together.

Every third Saturday of the month (except for May when they’re at the Maker Faire), they host a meetup where they encourage beginners to experts alike to come, bring clothes and ideas, and swap it like it’s hot. Share and learn ideas of how to repurpose anything and everything into clothing, home decor, and beyond.

Let’s get together to socialize while we swap clothes and ideas. This month’s project will be Reverse Appliqué.

It’s basically this: cut a hole into a T-shirt, and sew a contrasting fabric on back – that’s it. Get rid of stains & tears permanently. Transplant a beloved graphic onto a new item of clothing. Cut a fancy shaped hole to create your own original graphic.
